Workshops to Explain Business IT and Small Business Assistance Program

Business Development experts from the LA County Economic Development Corporation will team-up with business owners for a workshop training series. Also Economic Recovery Act funds received by LA County for small business development will be discussed.

Keeping pace with business technology or IT upgrades and trends, is not practical for most owners. But without proper IT, many businesses will spend excessive revenue for daily operations at a time when finances are limited.

Questions to be examined at the workshop surround IT affordability, mobile staff options and how-to select from the range of IT solutions in the marketplace. Participating owners will be asked to discuss business problems, and IT solutions will be designed that incorporate functions of HR administration; field operations; manufacturing/production; marketing/sales; finance/accounting; customer service and overall management control.

A $10.00 donation will benefit programs of the National Veterans Foundation (www.nvf.org). Space is limited and an RSVP registration can be completed by calling the series coordinator, NS Integration at 866 671 0089 ext. 204.
