The UCLA Center on Aging held its annual ICON Awards gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on May 30, where more than 400 people gathered to honor this year’s ICON Award recipients, actress and humanitarian Connie Stevens, Dr. Hillel Laks, a renowned heart transplant surgeon and professor of cardiac surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and philanthropist and community leader Mimi Perloff.
