Five people were injured in a crash between two vehicles Sunday evening in West Hollywood, authorities said.
The crash happened about 6:25 p.m. at the intersection of Sunset and La Cienega boulevards, sheriff’s Sgt. Gabriel Akchyan said.
“A vehicle was westbound on Sunset Boulevard and hit an eastbound vehicle,” Akchyan said. “The eastbound vehicle, a van, attempted to make a left turn onto La Cienega.”
The westbound vehicle struck the van as it made the left turn, he said. The van was pushed into the southeast crosswalk where it struck four pedestrians.
The pedestrians and the van’s passenger were taken to hospitals with “very minor injuries,” Akchyan said.
There were no arrests and alcohol was not believed to be a factor, he said. “It was just an accident.”
