Hillary Clinton To Hold Her Last Los Angeles Fundraiser in Los Angeles Next Thursday

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is scheduled to hold next Thursday what her campaign is billing as her final Los Angeles-area fundraising dinner before the election.

A dinner fundraiser featuring Clinton’s vice presidential running mate, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, is scheduled for Saturday night at the Los Angeles- area home of businessman Andrew Hauptman and his wife, Ellen Bronfman Hauptman.

Tickets for the Clinton dinner, which will include a performance by singer Elton John, start at $33,400 per person, according to an invitation obtained by City News Service.

Individuals donating $100,000 will be designated as a co-chair, which includes admission to a co-chair reception with Clinton and what is described as premium dinner seating.

The $33,400 figure is the maximum amount an individual can contribute to a national party committee in a year under federal law.

Tickets for Saturday’s Kaine fundraiser start at $2,700, the maximum individual contribution to a presidential candidate in the general election.

Individuals donating $5,000 will have their picture taken with Kaine. Couples donating $33,400 will have dinner with Kaine and have their picture taken with him.

British singer, songwriter and guitarist Corinne Bailey Rae will perform.

Hauptman is chairman of Andell Inc., a private investment firm and owner of the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer. His wife is the daughter of Canadian billionaire Charles Bronfman.

Clinton was last in Southern California Aug. 22-23 when she conducted five fundraisers and appeared on the ABC late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

A visit planned for Sept. 13 for two fundraisers in the Beverly Hills area was canceled following a diagnosis of pneumonia.

Kaine was last in the Southland Sept. 19-20 for two fundraisers.
