Two Killed in Washington Boulevard Shooting

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide are investigating a multi-victim shooting from on Washington Bouelarvd near Culver City that left two men killed and a third female victim hospitalized.

On May 3, 2021, at about 1:00 a.m., LAPD Wilshire Area officers responded to a call of a shooting in a strip mall at the corner of Crenshaw Boulvard and Washington Boulevard. When officers arrived they found a victim who had suffered gunshot wounds. He was inside of his vehicle and unresponsive.

A second victim was down in the parking lot. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive. A third victim was inside of her vehicle. She had suffered a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital and was in stable condition.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and determined the male victims both died at scene.

The identity of the victims is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
