Marilyn Monroe’s Brentwood home recently sold for $350,000 over its asking price.
The 2,624-square-foot home was sold to an unknown buyer on May 31, one day before what would have been the actress’ 91st birthday.
The Spanish-style home, which was first listed in April or $6.9 million, was Monroe’s last home before she died in one of the bedrooms in 1962.
Monroe purchased the home in 1962 for $77,500, paying half in cash and taking out a mortgage for the rest.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home was built in 1929, and includes a guesthouse, citrus trees, and a pool.
