Santa Monica Police Activities League (PAL) and California Police Activities League (CAL-PAL) kids enjoy a free afternoon of fun and games at Pacific Park
What: Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier will host the 12th Annual PALpalooza. The Santa Monica Police Activities League (PAL) and 13 California Police Activities League (CAL-PAL) chapters receive a free, fun-filled back-to-school treat.
PALpalooza will have its largest attendance with more than 700 kids enjoying Pacific Park’s 12 exciting rides, 14 midways games and a variety of food selections from the Park’s oceanfront food court including hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries and soft drinks and juice. The kids will also delight in a variety of desserts including cotton candy, popcorn and ice creams.
The Santa Monica Police Department will display an antique patrol car for kids to explore. In addition, an oversized canvas will be available for kids to imprint their paint-dipped hands for a one-of-a-kind PALpalooza mural to be displayed at the PAL Youth Center.
The Santa Monica PAL is Pacific Park’s primary charitable organization on the Westside. The two-acre amusement park donates all food, drinks, games and rides for PALpalooza.
