Five pre-teen students on a school bus that made a sudden hard swerve Monday complained of pain, but had no visible injuries, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters were called to 11785 San Vicente Blvd. in Brentwood about 3:46 p.m., said LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.
There were 45 students aboard the bus, which was transporting Los Angeles Public High School students. Humphrey said he did not know why the bus swerved, but it was not involved in a collision.
All the students complaining of pain were taken to be checked out by doctors, he said.
