Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll was arrested in Las Vegas Friday on suspicion of possession of cocaine and MDMA, commonly known as Molly, according to a broadcast report.
Stoll was arrested at the pool of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, Metro Police told KLAS-TV, Las Vegas’ CBS affiliate.
“We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll,” the Kings said in a statement.
“Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.”
The Orange County Register, citing information from the Clark County jail, reported Stoll posted $5,000 bail and was freed from custody. He is due to have a hearing on Saturday, according to The Register.
The arrest came six days after the Kings ended their season.
The 32-year-old was a member Kings’ 2012 and 2014 Stanley Cup-wining teams.
