Children and adults can get free medical testing at a health fair Sunday in the Koreatown district of Los Angeles.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Walgreens and local churches are sponsoring the health fair, which will include immunizations for children. Adults can get screenings fro glaucoma, high blood pressure, and bad glucose and cholesterol readings.
The Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute will offer breast cancer detection techniques, and the dental team will offer free dental screenings.
A blood drive will also be conducted.
The health fair is part of a nationwide drive by the wives of church pastors, called First Ladies Health Day.
It will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Founder’s Church, at Berendo and Sixth streets in Koreatown. The address 3281 W. 6th St.
