The Pooch Hotel will be hosting a Pet & Play Adoption event in the West Los Angeles area on April 26 to help potential pet parents find their respective love connection with a dog and help shelter animals find permanent homes.
This weekend’s event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Pooch Hotel, which is located at 2250 South Barrington Avenue in West Los Angeles.
“Potential pet parents can participate in quick play dates to find the perfect lifelong companion,” a release about this weekend’s adoption event stated. “During the event, love seekers, both human and dog, will fill out a dating profile before meeting candidates.”
The Pooch Hotel will have “adoption specialists” on hand to help potential pet parents with up to three dogs that, based on a profile analysis and reviews of personality and lifestyle, are the best possible match for them.
“After a five-minute speed date with each love interest where they will have an opportunity to play and bond, the pet parent will choose the dog they had the biggest love connection with,” organizers stated.
More time will be afforded to those who would not be able to make a decision within the five-minute window.
Both people and dogs will be provided with refreshments at the event. Adopting parents will also receive 50 percent off purchase of any Pooch Hotel boarding or daycare package.
