WLA YOUTH PROGRAMS NEED YOU!!! The Los Angeles Police Department and your local West Los Angeles Community Police Station have developed an exciting array of youth programs that are enriching the lives of local area children. The youth programs consist of the Police Activity League (PAL), the Deputy Auxiliary Police (DAP), and the Cadet Program. These programs provide the youth of our community, ranging in ages from 7-20, with a path away from gangs and towards success. The programs provide training that instill discipline, promote leadership, and enhance academic achievement in all of its members.
