Concours d’Elegance Returns to Greystone Estate May 1, 2011


Recently designated an official “Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens†(FIVA) event, the Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance is one of only a handful of car shows in the United States that have received this distinction. Internationally renowned and respected for their precision and expertise, FIVA’s endorsement of the 2011 Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance speaks volumes of the quality and excellence of the vehicles that will be on display.

The 2011 Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance will feature valuable vehicles including: 1934 Voisin C27 Aerosport, 1947 Cisitalia, 1953 Aston Martin DB2/4 by Bertone, 1961 Aston Martin by Zagato, 1957 Jaguar XK 140 Zagato, 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa, 1962 Ferrari Super America, 1967 Ferrari 365 California, 1927 Bentley LeMans, Porche, Rolls Royce, Austin-Healey, Cobra, Corvette, Packard, Stutz and a rare Dusenberg, among others.

The Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance has something for everyone including a high end vendors who will be selling fine art, jewelry, automobilia, and accessories. Historic and educational tours of the Greystone Estate will take place throughout the day; and, food stations catered by Lawry’s Restaurants as well as beer and wine gardens, margarita and espresso bars will be conveniently situated throughout the estate grounds.

In addition, there will be four lectures one each at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm featuring top names in the automotive world: Donald Osborne of Sports Car Market Magazine; internationally known Ferrari appraisers Lance Coren and Bryan Thomas; professional stunt drivers Corey Eubanks and Debbie Evans and photojournalist Michael Furman.

A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit Friends of Greystone, and their ongoing restoration efforts of the Greystone Estate.

Tickets are $100 per person when purchased in advance and $125 at the door. Ticket sales are limited to 3000 and ticket purchase includes unlimited food and drink, program book and poster, as well as access to the estate grounds and mansion, as well as a two for one admission to the Peterson Automotive Museum.
