7/28/09, at 0020 hours 11500 Santa Monica Bl (RD 853)
The victim had just withdrawn money from the ATM at the bank. He was walking westbound on the north side of the street, and as he approached Colby suspect #1 approached. Suspect #1 continued to close on the victim as suspects #2&3 approached southbound on Colby. Suspect #2 came up behind the victim and placed him in a hold. Suspect #3 removed the victim’s property from his pockets. The three suspects entered a vehicle and fled eastbound in the alley north of Santa Monica Bl.
Suspect #1: Male Hispanic unk Bro 5-10 175 20-22 yrs, TT’s on elbows,white shirt, gray sweatshirt, and dark baseball cap.
Suspect #2: Male Hispanic Bro Bro 5-10 185 19-23 yrs, TT’s on arms and neck, a white shirt and light pants.
Suspect #3: Male Hispanic Bro Bro 5-10 165 19-23 yrs, wearing a white shirt and light pants
Weapon: Bodily Force
Vehicle: 1995-2001 Pick-Up truck Dark with a silver shell

Location: Ohio Ave./ Purdue Ave. RD# 853
Suspects 1-4: Male, Hisp, Bald, 24, NFD
Weapon: Knife, Bodily force
Property Taken: US Currency, Watch
On the above date and time, the victim was walking on Ohio at Purdue, when he was approached from behind by the suspects. Suspect 1 wrapped his arm around the victim’s neck, while he held a knife. S-1 pulled the victim to the ground, and S-2-4 began punching and kicking him. The victim’s property was removed by an unknown suspect, and the suspects fled on foot westbound on foot.
ARREST OF BUSINESS ROBBERY SUSPECT:
11700 Pico Bl (RD 881) 7/17/09, at 1830 hours
WLA Detectives had identified the suspect in the above crime as well as in the Robbery of a pharmacy in Pacific area. WLA Detectives attempted to get the suspect’s Parole Agent to call him into the office in order to arrest him. The suspect was booked for 211 PC w/the use of a firearm, along with a Parole Hold. The suspect is a documented gang member.
