Bel Air resident and former chairman of the board and CEO of Caesars’ World Henry Gluck, been elected to the chairmanship of the board of advisors for Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, effective July 1. Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center is ranked the No. 3 hospital in the United States and the No. 1 hospital in the West by U.S. News & World Report.
“We are pleased that Mr. Gluck has agreed to accept this leadership position on our board,” said Dr. David Feinberg, associate vice chancellor and CEO of the UCLA Hospital System. “He brings tremendous business experience and is a great advocate for us in the community.”
Gluck has had an illustrative career as a business leader. He served as president of Monogram Industries, at that time one of the fastest growing conglomerates listed on the New York Stock Exchange while still in his thirties before going on to serve as chairman, president and CEO of Magnasync-Moviola Inc. Gluck led Caesar�s World for more than a decade, negotiating its sale to ITT in 1995.
Despite the above, Gluck has found time to be an active member of the community having served on the National Council of the Salk Institute, as a trustee of City of Hope and as chairman of the board of trustees of the Westlake School. He also served as chairman and as a trustee of the Business Institute of Gerontology of the Andrus Gerontology Center at the University of Southern California.
Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center is part of the UCLA Health System and is the flagship hospital of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
