STREET ROBBERY:
Federal Ave & Texas Ave (RD 842)
5/20/09, at 2030 hours
The victim was driving to the Hospital to visit a friend. When she was southbound on Federal she observed a male Black walking southbound on the west sidewalk. The victim pulled to the curb and rolled down her passenger window to ask for directions. The male Black, (Suspect) looked around, then opened the passenger side door and sat down and stated, “Give me everything you got.” The victim handed her purse to the suspect. The victim asked for her personal possessions back and attempted to grab her purse. The suspect struck the victim on the left side of her face. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
Suspect: M B Blk Blk 5-7 150 22-23 years (Big lips & short hair) baggy gray hoodie and baggy blue jeans.
Weapon: bodily force
Property Taken: $300 cash, purse.
