“From Our Ocean to Theirs†will raise funds for victims of the March 11th Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan. Proceeds will benefit Real Medicine Foundation, a non-profit providing humanitarian relief in disaster and poverty-stricken areas.
The event was the brain child of Malibu High School students Max G, winner of the Malibu High School Talent Show and son of world renowned musician Kenny G, and Jordan Seah, both of whom will be performing with their bands at the event.
Artist Masha Kartavenkova (www.masha-pop.com) will be exhibiting and local stores Alice + Olivia, ChocolateBox Cafe, Intermix, Kitson, La Perla and Maxfield will all be donating a portion of the day’s proceeds or making a direct donation to Real Medicine Foundation’s Japan relief effort. Real Medicine Foundation staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions and accept direct donations.
The day will feature performances by Max G, Jordan Seah, The James Burnett Band, Benjamin Krausner, Ren Martinez, Sophie Galate and more. The Malibu Lumber Yard, 3939 Cross Creek just off the PCH, in Malibu will host the event.
