Parks and Recreation Commission Vice Chair Phil Brock and Commissioner Richard McKinnon will host the next in their series of town hall meetings on bikes and pedestrians on November 8th. The focus will be on bike and pedestrian safety. Representatives from the SMPD and from Santa Monica City Staff have been invited to share information and ideas with the public on developing solutions to the high incidence of bike and pedestrian accidents in Santa Monica. Bike safety education, improvements to signage, and bike and pedestrian friendly streets will be on the agenda.
