Diesel Star Wars
Dressed as Jedi and Stormtroopers, Star Wars fans showed their support for Sean Williams’ newest novel, “The Force Unleashed.†On the evening of August 21, fans gathered in the dimly lit Diesel bookstore on Cross Creek Road for a very personal signing of Williams’ latest novel. The book is based on a LucasArts video game to be released September 16.
The award-winning Australian author of over 60 published short stories and 25 novels, came to the United States for the World Science Fiction Convention held annually in Denver, Colorado.
Before catching a non-stop to Sydney, Williams spent his last evening among a few of Malibu’s most enthusiastic Star Wars fans. Although the fans were small in stature, their passion was evident as Williams read some of his favorite excerpts to the eager crowd. Also in attendance were Star Wars characters Darth Vader, Boba Fett and one of the Imperial Guards.
