The Young the Restless dominated announcement of nominations made on May 1 for the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards, collecting 26 nods, including outstanding drama series.

Fellow CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful received 18 nominations, followed by ABC’s General Hospital with 16.

The awards will be presented June 22 at the Beverly Hilton. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony, during which many of the technical awards are presented, will be held June 20 at the Westin Bonaventure.

Despite its number of nominations, General Hospital was snubbed in the outstanding drama series category. Nominations went to The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, and One Life to Live.
