The mentoring program pioneered by CUN, Mentoring Partnership for Los Angeles Youth (mPLAY), has become a model for the rest of the nation. Celebrity mentors include: Pierce Brosnan, Sela Ward, Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Arquette, Jane Seymour, Tara Reid, Victoria Rowell, Jose Celano, California Governor Gray Davis and First Lady Sharon Davis, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and many others.
Its innovations also include starting a grand tradition of fun with Day of the Child, CUN’s largest fundraiser of the year, and the biggest event for foster children and mentors in the Country. Past performers at the annual event include Coolio, 3rd Storee, Hanson, Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, the Pointer Sisters, Nick Cannon and other acclaimed artists.
Join CUN and hundreds of high-risk children from foster homes, residential facilities and homeless shelters for a day of fun and games on November 22nd from 11am-4pm.
