On September 11, Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB) – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting U.S. veterans kicked off the third annual, coast-to-coast Old Glory Relay, sponsored by Microsoft at the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, Washington.
During the relay, 59 teams of runners will move a single American flag across the country. Along the way, running teams will capture the “Faces of Old Glory” – stories of empathy, action and impact – by sharing photos and videos on social media using #OldGloryRelay.
Among those participating this year is Westfield, and you’ll be able to visit the Team RWB Pop-Up Shop at the Westfield Corporate office in Century City at 2049 Century Park East on Wednesday September 28 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. You can support the team by purchasing gear, apparel, and accessories. All proceeds support Team RWB and veterans enriching programs.
The relay will take 62 days and span 4,216 miles. It will conclude on Veterans Day in Tampa, Florida.
