Inglewood Man Fatally Stabbed in Hollywood Parking Lot

Authorities today identified a man who was fatally stabbed in a parking lot in Hollywood.
Joel Fraticelli, 27, of Inglewood died at the scene of the crime, which occurred about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of North Cherokee Avenue, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.
On Thursday, Raymond Jackson, 29, of Pacoima was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder, the LAPD reported. He was held in lieu of $1 million bail, the sheriff’s department reported.
According to the LAPD, a witness told investigators that a man stabbed the victim then took the witness’ Ford F150 pickup truck and fled the scene with another male and a female. The pickup was later found abandoned nearby in the 6800 block of Camrose Drive, police said.

LAPD West Bureau Homicide detectives conducted an investigation and identified Jackson as the suspect, police said. The FBI’s Fugitive Task Force
located Jackson on Thursday, along with two other people who fled in the pickup truck, officials said. The two other people were questioned and released, police said.
