Free Weekend Concerts on the Westside
This weekend don’t miss two free concerts on the Westside!
First on Thursday night, the Twilight Concert Series continues with a Latin twist. Grammy award winning rock band, La Santa Cecilia, takes the stage at 7 PM on the Santa Monica Pier.
Their musical influences range from Miles Davis to The Beatles with an openness to all genres. Their most recent album features seven new tracks includinga heartfelt Spanglish rendition of The Beatles iconic “Strawberry Fields Forever.” For more info visit Santamonicapier.org
And then on Sunday, Jazz on the Lawn the summer concert series returns to Stewart Street Park in Santa Monica with the Tom Nolan Band. With a world-class rhythm section, great singers and soloists, and an intense stage show, they’ll bring you to your feet!
Bring a picnic, blanket and beach chairs, to the park ad enjoy the rotating food and dessert trucks including Dogtown Dogs, Sweet Lucie’s Organic Ice Cream, and The Lobos Truck.
