Glamorous actress Sharon Stone received the Mother of the Year award. Her three young sons – Roan Bronstein, and Laird and Quinn Stone – praised their devoted mom with being their life force, and detailed experiences she has faced being a single mother.
Stone, who seemed to be wearing little makeup and was simply dressed, spoke about her most precious role in life: being a mother and role model. We were very impressed by the love and devotion shared by her family.
Also honored was Chaz Dean, creator of WEN Hair and Body Care, who received the Humanitarian Award from his long time client and friend, Lisa Rinna. The adorable actress and cast member of “The Housewives of Beverly Hills” (who has the cutest hairstyle in town, spoke about his contributions to people and animals in need. I have worked with this organization, hosting fashion shows for various designers, and even posed as a cheerleader for the Jeffrey beauties.
This anniversary event had two celeb MCs – newscaster Christine Devine, and TV host Peter Marshall, with entertainment by the versatile Bonnie Bowden, and the adorable Newman twins.
However, the real joy of the evening was the tribute paid to Alyce Morris, who devoted her entire life to assisting handicapped and children in need and their families. Some of the notable guests in attendance included Beverly Cohen (Four Seasons Hotel), Peter Mark, Helen Richman, Elaine DuPont, and Bernard and Linda Schwartz.
