Sculptor Ted Gall debuts his new exhibition of interactive sculptures entitled “Bronze Parables” at bG Gallery (www.santamonica.bgartdealings
Gall is known for creating sculptures in bronze that include interactive elements, moving parts, or embedded interactive video components. He often collides human and animal imagery with mechanical and electronic forms, in a distinctive Retro-Futurist style.
The works are highly narrative in nature. They’re often parables about subjects such as psychology, dreams, inspiration and the creative process. Although the works explore profound issues, they are known for their appeal to children as well as adults, given the fact that they are meant to be touched and played with, offering multiple entry points to enjoying his dynamic works.
The opening exhibition will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The artist will be in attendance. The exhibition will run through Sunday, December 18, 2016.
