The opening song from the hit 90’s sitcom “Friends” may state: “Your job’s a joke, you’re broke…” but co-creator of the series David Crane made his millions off the backs of that premise, which is why he could afford to buy – and now sell – his pricey Century City condo.
Crane bought his penthouse apartment with his partner Jeffrey Klarik (who produced the “Mad About You” television series), at Century City’s “The Century.” The pair spent five years designing the pad in 1930’s décor. However, now they’re planning on moving to London and this luxury condo can be yours for a mere $29.9 million.
The penthouse boasts seven rooms and three outdoor terraces but the steep price tag also has a lot to do with the pair’s antique collection included in the sale and which include “glass panels from the grand salon of the ocean liner SS Normandie.”
