Seong Hwan Kim and Rebecca Edelson are the newest partners to join Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in Century City at 1901 Avenue of the Stars. Both will be working in the firm’s intellectual property practice groups.
The two come to Sheppard Mullin following stints at Steptoe & Johnson.
Kim will take on commercial litigation, specializing in intellectual property matters, while Edelson will focus on intellectual property, with an emphasis on trade secrets and unfair competition.
Following the hirings, Kim said, “I am excited to join Sheppard Mullin. I have been impressed by the firm’s consistent growth year-over-year. I was especially attracted to the firm’s successful Korea office, burgeoning Mexico practice, robust IP practice group, and substantial California footprint, which are all key to growing my practice further. I also greatly look forward to continuing to practice with [Edelson].”
