
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will be holding the first State of the State Luncheon with Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León. The event will take place at Paramount Pictures, 5555 Melrose Avenue on Friday, July 10th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This inaugural address comes as the state of California discusses issues for which de León is advocating that will impact Hollywood and Southern California.

Senator de León will address Chamber members, highlighting issues for which he is advocating that will impact Hollywood and Southern California. Attendees and sponsors will receive updates on the implementation of AB1839, and information on how to make the most of this newly increased tax incentive for filming in California.
The Senator will also provide insight on solar energy and thoughts on controlling price hikes for gasoline, as well as information on transportation and the planned high speed rail system. Excellent networking and direct interaction with the Senator will be the highlight of the Chamber luncheon, making this an extremely successful inaugural event!
