Dancer/authors Nikki and Ethan White will read their new book Prima the Ballerina In Her Backyard at a special Storytime on Saturday, June 20 at 10:30 AM at Bank of Books Malibu, 29169 Heathercliff Road.
Prima is a young dancer – but she doesn’t know it yet. As Prima explores her backyard, she floats like the butterfly,stretches like the owl, arches her back like the snakes, hops like the bunny, and balances like the ants. When she puts all those movements together to perform for her animal friends, Prima realizes that she is dancing!
Author Nikki White danced for professional ballet companies for 10+ years before embarking on her own choreographic and performance career with her husband Ethan. The Whites were one of the top 3 finalists on CBS show ‘Live to Dance’, they have created a children’s dance brand called ‘Prima the Ballerina’, and they have recently begun competing in ballroom competitions. Nikki White is also the author of the popular blog ‘Ask a Ballerina.’ The authors’ latest and most exciting adventure is the birth of their sweet son, Dax Wilder White.
