A man’s body was found today near the Los Angeles River in Long Beach, authorities said.
The body was discovered about 7:15 a.m. near Pacific Coast Highway, said Marlene Arrona of the Long Beach Police Department.
The cause of death of the man, who was in his 20s, was not immediately known, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His name was not immediately released.
