Writers for “Game of Thrones,” “The Good Wife,” “House of Cards,” “Mad Men” and “True Detective” were nominated today for the Writers Guild of America award for television drama.
Comedy nominations went to the writers of “Louie,” “Orange is the New Black,” “Silicon Valley,” “Transparent” and “Veep.”
Nominations for writing in a new series went to “The Affair,” “The Knick,” “Silicon Valley,” “Transparent” and “True Detective.”
The WGA Awards will be presented Feb. 14 during simultaneous ceremonies in New York and at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City. Motion picture and documentary nominees, and videogame writing nominations, will be announced next month.
