The Venice Art Crawl will see more than 50 artists and 30 venues, along with hundreds of visitors come together in one of LA’s most iconic neighborhoods for a day of art, music, design, and entertainment.
The event starts tonight, Sept. 18 at 6 pm.
For the first time ever the VAC will be closing down a block on Rose Ave between 3rd and 4th Avenues.
The street art party will feature glow-in-the-dark live art group shows, unique “art cars”, live painting, art installations, music and much, much more.
Dress: Playa play wear; boa’s tutu’s encouraged.
In addition to the street art party there will be amazing events all over Venice.
These happenings will be presenting up-and-coming, ground-breaking artists in a range of media including painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and mixed-media.
Some of these venues include: Hal’s upstairs, In Heroes We Trust where Isabel Alford Lago will be live painting, Electric Lodge, Cadillac Hotel, San Luis Bakery will be distributing free samples, The Agency will be showing photos by Kwaku Alston 6-9PM, SOS on Rose Ave will be showing artwork by Angelina Cristina.
Also this evening, The Venice Symphony Orchestra will hold a fundraiser for music education programs for homeless youth and free concerts for public school students. Photographer singer songwriter Julian Lennon has donated a photo of Sean Lennon for Auction to benefit the Venice Art Crawl that will be showing at The Cadillac Hotel.
