The Black Rose Early Music Ensemble will perform Early Italian Baroque Music on April 14, 2013 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 37343 South Centinela Drive in West Los Angeles.
An unusual and whimsical combination including violin and cornetto, two violins and dulcian, violin and trombone, and, they say, chicken and cuckoo. The concert will present a capriccio by Frescobaldi, plus canzonas and sonatas by Cima, Legrenzi, Salaverde and others, famous, notorious, and obscure.
The concert starts at 3:00pm and while it is free, a $10.00 offering is suggested.
