The Giving Spirit needs volunteers to assemble a record 1,600 signature backpacks – filled with essentials for surviving the summer heat – and distribute them directly into the hands of women and children in need at shelters throughout LA County with whom The Giving Spirit partners.
Reach-Out Saturday is a family-friendly activity, a great way to meet new friends and network, and more important now than ever.
Backpacks will be assembled at Brentwood Presbyterian Church, 12000 San Vicente Blvd in Brentwood.
