ACDG’s Hollywood Scarlets are on a roll: In April, they kicked off the 2012 season with a second place finish at the Dust Devil Tournament in Tucson, AZ. On May 5th, they traveled north to battle longtime rival Sacred City. The Scarlets returned victorious, beating the Sacrificers for the first time in league history,143-137. Additionally, WFTDA released their quarterly rankings, and the Hollywood Scarlets have officially moved up to 8th in the Western region.
At 8:00pm, on Saturday May 19th, in the Culver City Veterans Memorial Auditorium, 4117 Overland Avenue in Culver City, the Hollywood Scarlets will take on Wasatch Roller Derby’s own Midnight Terror at 8:00 PM. Since 2009, WRD has been Salt Lake City’s premier flat track roller derby league. They are currently ranked 15th in the this region.
Prior to the main event, at 7:00pm, ACDG will compete in a mini-bout featuring ACDG’s up and coming skaters! Doors open at 6:30pm.
