In this informal evening of demonstration and conversation, learn about Glassman’s process for creating dance in unlikely places, his work with non-dancers, and his project for the Beach House site, tentatively titled “Timeless: Marxist Dances at the Beach†.
Glassman will screen and discuss video clips of his past works and scenes of classic film actors who inspire his work on Timeless.
Choreographer in Residence Keith Glassman (http://www.keithglassman.org) will create new site-specific dances throughout the Beach House from March 7- May 16th, 2011.
