The theme of this year’s fair is “The Gift of Giving†. Inspired by a phrase from the Book of Luke, “give, and it will be given to you…for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.†The annual fair is truly the gift that gives; all net proceeds from the event are donated to the church’s outreach partners, a full list of the religious and non-religious organizations are listed below. Last year’s fair raised in excess of $160,000 for these organizations via the silent auction, gift and food boutiques, the St. Matthew’s Thrift Shop which features its best wares, a raffle and Outreach gift cards which enable donations to specific Outreach partners.
Pacific Palisades residents Lynne Weaver and Heather Kadenacy are auction co-chairs. Brentwood resident Dr. Callene Momtazee is the event co-chair for the second year and Santa Monica’s Amy Childress is serving in her first term as the event co-chair.
