VOCA Art Gallery located at 215 Ocean Front Walk, Venice CA has been truly making a name for itself, since its opening, just 9 months ago in Venice, CA. Dianne Neuman, renowned artist and creator of VOCA Art Gallery is excited to feature local emerging artists in this monthly, every third Thursday recurring Art Event.
The official start date of the Northern Lights of the Venice Art Crawl is Thursday, Aug 19th from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and VOCA Art Gallery has quite the celebration planned for the kick off event. A live Paint off, DJs, Dancing, incredible art, stilt walkers and fire dancers, refreshments and a visit from Venice’s own Treeman.
Dianne Neuman’s vision for the gallery is to provide great art, venues for artists to show their work and community involvement. VOCA exhibits contemporary work ranging from representation to pure abstraction. Irrespective of medium, VOCA focuses on artists whose work challenges traditionally held notions about whether through approach, material use or content.
This Thursday, August 19th from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm, Celebrate the “The Northern Lights, Venice Art Crawl†with VOCA Art Gallery. Local artists to be featured will be Brooke Harker, Louise Marler, Dianne Neuman, Sona Mirzaei, Teresse Radenbaugh and Sam E. Razar as well as members of the organization, Women Painters West.
Don’t miss this monthly Art Happening, starting Thursday, August 19th from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and continuing every third Thursday of each month in Venice. Come enjoy the Kick Off Party (Aug 19th) at VOCA Art Gallery. Celebrate Venice with all its artistic expression with a live Paint Off, DJs, dancing and refreshments.
In addition, poster reproductions will be on sale of “Veneer of Venice†by Barbara Mastej, recently chosen in VOCA’s juried exhibit, “Shifting Paradigm.” A portion of the poster’s proceeds will be donated to the organization Stand Up for Kids.
