For more than 30 years, Damon spent his soap opera days playing Dr. Alan Quartermaine on General Hospital, among other roles, and is eager to reprise his acting role in the final season of As The World Turns. Damon plays “Ralph,” a businessman thought to be linked to the mob who causes big trouble for some of Oakdale’s residents. As a man of many careers, he will be making his last appearances on As The World Turns the week of August 23rd. After 54 years on television, the legendary soap opera will air for the final time on September 17, 2010.
