The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) invites the public to attend public hearings on the proposed Wilshire Bus Rapid Transit project June 21 through 30, Metro, the City of Los Angeles and the County of Los Angeles have just released a Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Assessment (EIR/EA) analyzing the proposed project and alternatives. If adopted, there would be a dedicated bus lane operating on weekdays, during the peak periods along most of Wilshire Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles.
Meetings will be held at the following dates and locations:
Monday, June 21, 6-8 p.m., Westwood Presbyterian Church, 10822 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles. Parking is available in the surface lot. Served by Metro lines 20, 720, 920.
Tuesday, June 22, 6-8 p.m., Good Samaritan Hospital, Moseley Salvatori Conference Center, 637 Lucas Avenue, Los Angeles. Parking is available in the lot on Lucas Avenue, between 6th Street and Wilshire Blvd. Parking is not validated, and costs $8. Served by Metro line 20.
Tuesday, June 29, 2-4 p.m., Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles. Parking is available in the surface lot. Served by Metro Line 20.
Wednesday, June 30, 6-8 p.m., Felicia Mahood Center, 11338 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles. Street parking is available on Corinth. Served by Metro Line 4.
