Global Autism Program Ambassador, Elaine Hall, founder of The Miracle Project, profiled in the two-time EMMY award winning HBO documentary Autism: the Musical, is working boundlessly in her role as Director of the Vista Inspire Program in Culver City, California, to offer children with Autism, and other perceived disabilities, and their families, a synergistic and life affirming curriculum in the areas of music, dance, visual art, theater, sports and recreation, Jewish education, healthy lifestyle programs for parents, and integrated social events.

On this Father’s Day, June 21, 2009, NBA Star Doug Christie, Hollywood celebrities including, Gary Cole, Matt Dallas, William Morris, and ICM agents, and those passionate about funding autism programming will lace up their sneakers on behalf of children and their families who live with Autism.

The Celebrity Basketball Tournament, presented by Stanley Black, will take place on June 21, 2009, at the Galleon Center, located at the University of Southern California. The event kicks off at 9:00 am and the Christie’s are scheduled to arrvie soon after noon. Other participants and sponsors of this exciting day of play include Variety, William Morris Agency, ICM, The Harlem Globetrotters, Doug Flute, Jr. Foundation, Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation, City National Bank, The Jewish Community Foundation, the Zenith and more. All funds raised will support Vista Del Mar programs for children and families living with autism and other special needs under the leadership of educator, ambassador, and mother to a child living with Autism, Elaine Hall (Coach E). Family activities include the Harlem Globetrotters, basketball clinics, art projects and much more.
