April 6 Town Hall with the Mayor

Please mark your calendar for the first Westside Regional Alliance of Councils (WRAC) Town Hall event with special guest, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
The Mayor will be addressing the City Budget with the community at the Town Hall event scheduled for Monday, April 6th, from 6 PM to 7:15 PM at the Felicia Mahood Center, located at 11338 Santa Monica Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90025.
The Town Hall event will be facilitated by Mike Newhouse, member of the WRAC and President of the Venice Neighborhood Council. This will be an interactive discussion session with the Mayor regarding the current state of the City budget and the impact it will have on city services and resources. The town hall will be a great opportunity to engage with the Mayor on the proposed budget scheduled to be released in late April.
I understand that this is not very much time to outreach to the community. I am hoping to get your support in sending this invitation to your contact list.
To ensure we arrange for enough seating for the audience, I ask each of you to please work with your chamber, community council, neighborhood council, non-profit agency and any other community groups, and provide us with a list of RSVP from your organization to Jennifer Badger and myself. This will help us tremendously in having an accurate estimate of attendees.
