Wildwood Elementary School takes the lessons of the United States Constitution seriously. For this year’s presidential election, students will participate in mock elections, from kindergarten to the 5th Grade.
Students are promoting a Get-Out-The-Vote campaign, making signs and buttons to persuade voters to exercise their vote on election day. The fifth graders have been working on elections as part of their social studies class.
Activities culminate November 4. Students will cast their votes and juniors and seniors who have been trained will become student poll workers at precincts near their homes.
