Have you ever thought of helping young adults who are transitioning out of foster care? Would you like to support a young adult as they learn to live independently?
Come learn about Southern California Foster Family and Adoption Agency’s (SCFFAA) innovative, “Co-Mentoring” program that let’s you share your life experiences to support young adults (ages 18 – 25) when they need guidance most.
SCFFAA’s program is designed so that both the foster youth and the adult volunteer both benefit, thus it’s called co-mentoring. Together, co-mentoring helps prepare these young adults for a bright future.
Our next orientation is Saturday, October 20, 2012, 11:00am – 1:00pm at 155 North Occidental Blvd. in downtown Los Angeles.
