The City of Los Angeles’ Office of Historic Resources is currently conducting community outreach on behalf of SurveyLA, the citywide survey to identify and document historic resources.
In 2011, we will be gathering information for the field survey in the communities of Bel Air, Beverly Crest, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Playa del Rey, and Westchester, and we are hoping that residents and groups may be able to provide some assistance to the project. Below you will find info for a Community Meeting this Thursday for the Westside:
Thursday, February 3, 2011 7-9 pm
West Los Angeles Municipal Building
Hearing Room 200
1645 Corinth Avenue,
Los Angeles, CA 90025
We will be providing additional information about SurveyLA and how interested residents can participate.
If you know any specific individuals we should contact about this project please contact us. We are looking for members of the community who might be interested in being a Neighborhood Coordinator to help SurveyLA gather and organize information, or people who have a particular interest or knowledge about the history of the community or specific buildings that may have historic or cultural significance.
If you have any questions, please contact Bryan Fahrbach, consultant at Historic Resources Group at bryan@historicla.com or (626) 793-2400 x115.
