Hosted by the Center’s Young Professionals Council of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, Halloweenie will include dancing, an open bar, complimentary photos and music by Tracy Young.
“Halloweenie is a costume-required party, and people really show off their creative flair when they create their ensembles; I can’t wait to see 1,500 people with scary, funny and original costumes dancing en masse at the graveyard,†says Fred Arens-Duguay, who started the event
with husband Jason four years ago as a house party, which has since grown exponentially.
So Freddy and Jason are ready to bust out of the coffin. Who else will be spotted? Chucky, Dracula and Hannibal? Or if comical costumes are more your style, you could grin with Glee as Sue Sylvester in a red tracksuit.(For more funny costume ideas, check out this story from the
