Our Mission: Providing medical care, safe shelter, food, training and affection to homeless domestic animals with medical and behavioral problems, to save animals that are unwanted due to the limited resources of individuals and other animal organizations, to re-home adoptable animals, and to provide a forever home to non-adoptable animals
We believe that all animals deserve to be cared for, no matter what their medical, physical or behavioral issues. This the foundation upon which OMS is built. We do not turn away animals because they are feral, or wild. Feral cats and adoptable cats can coexist quite nicely, as our sanctuary can attest to. We do not believe that healthy, adoptable animals should ever be euthanized for lack of space, in fact, we routinely take adoptable dogs and cats from kill shelters and find them suitable homes.
