A break in a 12-inch water main in Hollywood Monday interrupted service to about 20 customers, authorities said.
The problem in the cast-iron pipe was reported about 1 a.m. in the 800 block of North Cahuenga Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
A 10- by 20-foot section of the roadway buckled near a curb, the LADWP reported.
Cahuenga Boulevard was closed in the area while crews worked to repair the pipe and the roadway.
