At Venice Arts, kids from low income families are given the opportunity to learn about and create their own photographic and cinematic works. On Saturday May 14th, students enrolled in all levels, which encompass ages 10 to 18, had their works on display for an enthusiastic crowd of friends, family and Venice locals. The atmosphere was both fun and full of support as families contributed to a large potluck, free ice cream was handed out by Salt & Straw, and Councilmember Mike Bonin was in attendance to hand out awards from the city to six advanced students.
